Nandos, Xscape Glasgow

Nandos is a different dining experience – revolving round spicey chicken from portugal, you may remember Nandos from the famous spicey sauce, the restaurant and sauce are one and the same.

The process works by getting a table allocated to yourselves, ordering your food and paying for it at the counter.  Then you sit down and wait for it to be brought to you.   In the intermin there is self-service drinks, unlimited refills.

The choice is mostly chicken – you tell them how much hot sauce you want on it – then add even more nandos hot sauce.

The chicken is superb, if a little tight on portions.  A ‘whole chicken’ is basically 4 large chicken legs on the bone.  Tasty but expensive at £11.  Fries are extra and are very good also.  Coleslaw a good standard too.

A nice meal out, but pricey if you eat a whole chicken like me!
